Several years ago, I had to turn my life around. My daughter was found to have a gluten intolerance, which meant I had to completely revamp my approach to feeding my family.
At the time, I thought I knew plenty about healthy foods. After all, I could cook. I bought veggies. I rotated menus. But as it turned out, quick-fixes like bagels and pasta dishes were staples in my usual meal planning. I didn’t give my kids fruits or vegetables nearly as often as I thought I did.
